Final Fantasy VII : Advent Chidren Complete 2009

Review of Final Fantasy VII : Advent Chidren Complete 2009

The above is the trailer for this amazing digital animation XD It’s the 2005 trailer but they remaked a new one and was released in 2009 ( Sorry this is the only eng-sub trailer I can find =p )

Type : Movie
Aired : 16th April 2009
Producer : Square Enix
Genres : Game, Action, Fantasy, Super Power, Sentimental

Okay.It seems like I am once again back for the mood to engulf myself in the usual favorites (>_<) Final Fantasy VII was always in my list of ‘must-watch‘ anime when I first saw the amazing CG and art in the trailer. And again after watching it, I have no regret at all. The version I just finished was the latest and newest version : Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children Complete 2009. It was AWESOME. The story took place 2 years after the gameplay, which at first confused me when I started watching.

I downloaded this movie ( yeah it’s a movie ) because I want to watch it in a clear and best quality. If I watch online, the quality will definitely be a lot worse than the original one. The download only took me one day. The movie length was about 3 hours but trust me, you will never regret after watching XD

Talking about the plot, I haven’t finish the original game so I was kinda confused. But I read the synopsis and got a brief idea of what happened. Talking about the characters, it was awesome as usual. Except for the seriousness, they included lots of humour scenes which made me can’t stop laughing. And when you watch this, seriously, don’t judge a book by it’s cover. A serious-looking person will just suddenly pop out some funny words or do some funny actions XD

Talking about the character’s voices. Awwww… Sakurai Takahiro as the main character Cloud Strife was just amazing as usual. And not to forget Suzumura Kenichi as Zack ( although Zack’s appearance in this movie was really really few T.T ). And did you notice? ONCE AGAIN! Sakurai Takahiro and Suzumura Kenichi are ONCE AGAIN working together as best friends. Fuuuu…. Seriously I am SO impressed O.o

The CG and the art of the scenes are unquestionable. I would give full marks for it! The settings are AWESOME. The battle scenes are fast and amazing. I just can’t blink when I watch. *drools* Oh, I forgot to talk about the character’s looks. Tell you, it was super FANTASTIC O.O They are ALL SO good-looking! They look SO REAL. My goodness. Technology nowadays really can make people die of satisfaction =S The drawings are so nice and smooth. The characters are all so handsome and pretty *faints*

Loveless Review

LovelessRitsuka ( left ) and Soubi ( right )

Yup. So from what you can see, this is a pure anime post, so you can ignore this post if you are not interested =D Today’s anime review is on Loveless.

Episodes : 12
Aired : 7th April 2005 to 20th June 2005
Producers : J.C. Staff, Bandai Visual, TV Asahi
Genres : Action, Mystery, Drama, Fantasy, Romance, Shounen Ai, Supernatural

I will talk about the story in my own words now kay. So it started when we were told that the brother of the main character, Aoyagi Ritsuka, was dead in a fire. The brother, Seimei was a high school student but surprisingly, he died in an elementary school, on a chair. He was burned to death. Why a high school student appeared in an elementary school? Who killed him and why was he murdered? Ritsuka was in a confused situation during the starting of the story. We were told that his personality had changed completely since 2 years ago, which was the after the death of his elder brother. His mother refused to accept Ritsuka, saying that he is not the Ritsuka she used to know anymore. In one of the episodes, it was revealed that, 2 years before, Ritsuka’s academic performance in school was not good but he was popular among his friends. But after the death of his brother, he had changed into a completely different person. The personality he used to have turned upside down. He scored perfectly in his exams but he became cold and refused to befriend anyone.

In the 1st episode, Ritsuka was a 12-year-old elementary school student. 2 years after the death of Seimei. His mother became insane and gets mad at him easily. After moving to a new school, a guy, Agatsuma Soubi, approached him. He claimed to be the friend of Seimei and he was also an university student by the age of 20 ( wow, 8 years apart huh? XD ) Later on, Ritsuka eventually discovered that Soubi and Seimei used to be a fighting pair, where Soubi was the ‘Fighter‘ and Seimei was the ‘Sacrifice‘. A Fighter fights while the Sacrifice will endure and take all the damage of the Fighter during battles. After Seimei’s death, Ritsuka eventually became the Sacrifice of Soubi, although both of them bear a different name. Fighters and Sacrfices are bond together with 2 persons with the same name. Both Soubi and Seimei bear the same name — Beloved whilst Ritsuka’s was Loveless. The stronger the bond, the stronger the Fighter in battles.

The more acquaitances they made, the more battles they went through, Ritsuka started to figure out the truth on his brother’s death. He got to know about this secret and mysterious organization — "Seven Moons". However, Soubi refused to tell Ritsuka anything about the organization and also about Seimei’s death, saying that he couldn’t do so. Even the enemies they met were unable to tell Ritsuka the truth. Zero was one of the series of enemies they made. The Zero series were unable to feel pain.

Due to the curousity and the determination to find out the truth, Ritsuka started to do his investigation, based on the memo he received from the enemy, with the help of Soubi, who stated that he will for anything for Ritsuka. Everything.

COMMENTS
I knew this is a Shounen-Ai series. In fact, it’s a well-known Shounen-Ai series. Not Yaoi, Shounen-Ai. However, the signal is not strong. To be honest, I can’t see any love between Soubi and Ritsuka. Instead, this series gave me a strong feeling or maybe should I say, shadow of Kuroshitsuji. The master-servant relationship. "All you need to do is to order me" And they got a similarity in the pairing : Matured adult x small brat =.= The uke is an egoism. Tough and determined. The seme , obedient and loyal. Yeah. Another similarity was, the uke tend to refuse the seme at first but in the end, he gave in (>_<) At first, this series gave me this feeling ‘How can a person say ‘I love you’ so easily when they do not have love in them?‘ That was what Soubi did. Appeared suddenly, confessed suddenly, and the 3 words can just slipped out from his mouth so easily =.=

The cat’s ear is cute! (>_<) The ears will only get off when they… *ahem* become adults… *coughs* The songs are nice. In fact, I got the songs before I started watching. The ending theme "Michiyuki" was beautiful and sad . There was this meaningful dialogue from Seimei in the last episode : Let’s see who will win in the end. Your FATE or your DETERMINATION TO LIVE .

Hakushaku to Yosei ( Earl and the Fairy ) Episode 3

Everytime I watch Hakushaku to Yosei, I will never fail to shriek. The same thing happened when I watched this episode. Midorikawa Hikaru’s voice + Edgar’s look + Edgar’s flirting will really make people blood to death ( oh well, maybe only me LOL ) My favourite scene in this episode is when Lydia’s father found the both of them, where Edgar was being assumed as person who kidnapped her daughter. But surprisingly, Edgar explained that he was actually proposing to Lydia and asked Lydia’s father to give him her hand. I laughed so much when Lydia’s father actually said :"WHAT?! You mean you like that brat?!" Oh dear. LOL While Lydia was trying very hard to deny everything but Edgar and her father ignored her and they continued on with the whole proposing stuff =D I felt so Code-Geass-Like when the episode ended with Edgar and Husky struggling with each other and a gunshot was heard O.O But oh well, I can see that nothing too bad will happen anyway =p Whilst when Lydia escaped, she met up with a fairy dog…

Oh yeah, by the way, there was this cute little brown pixie in this episode which made me felt like pinching it (>_<) It seemed that the small cute pixie lost it’s way and Lydia helped it to find it’s way by dripping lemon water on the floor so that the pixie could follow the track. It was so cute =D

Once again, I think Hikaru-san did a great job in voicing Edgar.I love every bits of it especially the flirting part. Woohoo~ The ending song, which was sung by Hikaru-san himself is a nice one. Okay, and I tried VERY HARD not to drool when I watched the ED XD

Vampire Knight Guilty Episode 3

Well, so this whole episode of Vampire Knight Guilty is between Aidou and Kaname. Aidou seems to suspect Kaname, not believing himself in behaving so and is having difficulties in opposing his inner self. You can say that this is an episode about Aidou as well. A little bit of Shiki, too, who went back to his home, where he saw his mother in a slacky position. The plot is deepening now and I felt that maybe I will like Aidou as well LOL Meanwhile, Yuuki is also trying to conquer her fright towards vampires. By convincing herself to do so, she even offered her blood to Zero, who she assumed that she is the only person who can understand Zero’s urge for blood. I still got the feeling that Zero likes Yuuki. I bet it hurts whenever he heard that Yuuki trusted his rival, Kaname so much that she won’t mind even if Kaname betrayed her.

So enjoy yourselves and I hope you will like this blog. Hehe

Oh yeah, don’t forget to leave me some comments if you want.

By the way, I write out my opinions about the animes in this blog.

You can disagree with me or you can even argue with me by commenting in the posts but just one small flavor from me..
